To Whom It May Concern

We recently built a new seed dressing complex at 79 Elginshire Street, Washdyke, and after having difficulty obtaining both prices and designs for our site drainage, we contracted Mr Jason Bray at Davis Ogilvie. After an initial site visit, with Jason it was apparent that we needed some expertise to design the drainage and treatment swales that Ecan were insisting on. This was complicated even further because we had decided on the foundation levels with Thompson Engineering, and consequently we found ourselves with an existing building that was considerably lower than the new warehouse. Davis Ogilvie were however able to make this scenario work and duly presented a drainage plan to Ecan which was later approved.

I found Jason and his team, in both Timaru and Christchurch, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I attended the Ecan pre-consent meeting with the Christchurch engineering and planning staff, and it was obvious that they had the respect of the decision makers at Ecan, and were able to get answers much quicker than normal. Our application was fast tracked and we had our consent in around six weeks. Jason project managed the construction phase of our yard drainage and hard seal and I found him to be very diligent and interactive with all contractors. We certainly saved time, and over all I think that we probably saved money employing an expert to oversee this phase of construction.

In hindsight maybe I should have involved Davis Ogilvie earlier. I know now that it would have made the project easier and quicker and would also have saved as some expenditure. I have no hesitation in recommending Jason and his team for this kind of project and would employ them again if another project of this magnitude arises.
